Traditional Ayurvedic Metabolism & Immune Boost Tea 🫖

1tsp ground cardamom (or three pods ground)
1 cinnamon stick (or 1 tsp ground)
1 tsp dry ginger powder
1 tsp black pepper
3 cups water
honey or jaggery to taste
Instructions:
Boil the water and add all the spices. Simmer til the water reduces to one cup. Strain and add jaggery or honey to taste.
Be sure to let it cool to a drinkable temperature before adding honey. Heated honey is considered a toxin in Ayurveda. Under 108 F it has tons of benefits though so if you can stand having your pinky in the tea for 10 seconds, it’s ready to add the honey.
Drink this tea daily or anytime you feel a cold coming on. It will help you stay healthy and lean by improving immunity and digestion all winter long.
